Information Technology For All, Inc, Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa

We use the term information technology or IT to refer to an entire industry. In actuality, information technology is the use of computers and software to manage information. In some companies, this is referred to as Management Information Services (or MIS) or simply as Information Services (or IS).

The information technology department of a large company would be responsible for storing information, protecting information, processing the information, transmitting the information as necessary, and later retrieving information as necessary.

Information Technology Assistance For Development Itad, Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa

ITAD is the acronym for the organization called "Information Technology Assistance for Development". ITAD is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Liberia (West Africa). ITAD is incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Liberia and accredited by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Affairs.

The corporation is comprised of a Board Directors, an Executive Director and a functional management team. This organization was established for the development of human resource and infrastructure in developing countries through the sharing and recycling of technology (Technical-Know-How and Equipment).

ITAD uses Information Technology assistance (Technical-Know-How and Equipment) as one of our key tool. In our effort to alleviate illiteracy, ignorance, Conflicts, Crimes, Poverty, and HIV infections in communities where majority of the inhabitants live in abject poverty, we have design several human resource development programs to capacitate and equip these poor people to improve their lives, the lives of other and their community.

We believe these poor people needs to be involved in the development program, if it must be successful. This is why we begin our programs at community level and then spread over an entire country as we acquire the needed resources. We conduct adult literacy program, Computer Literacy program, Counseling service, Workshops, Vocational skill training, and other programs to capacitate these people to implement what they have learned for the improvement of their lives, and their community.

It is better to manage donation of books. To manage the donation of books, you must monitor how the books are being put into use by the recipient education institution.

Are students enjoying satisfaction from using of the books? Do students and teachers have access to the books? These are some questions book donors need to know answer to.

When your donation of books is placed on shelves in libraries, it improved students learning library science in secondary school, since they have library to go to.

In that way, it even improve chance of teacher of library science to monitor students reading skill and ability to start conducting research.
